Given current realities, Girl Up believes it is critical to provide our members with resources and support to address mental health stigma and advocate for their own mental health needs and those of other youth. We are committed to supporting our growing global network of girl leaders, who work hard to advocate for gender equality and many other global issues. In line with our core value of being girl-led, Girl Up is launching its first-of-a-kind Mental Health Youth Advisory Group comprising of 8 youth from Girl Up’s global community. This group will work hand in hand with Girl Up team members to design and execute the beginning resources and content for Girl Up’s start-up global mental health programming.
Applicants should be between the ages of 13-24 years old and have an interest in mental health and well-being and have ideas to generate possible webinars, conversations, and other resource creation for a global youth audience. Sound like you? Apply today! The application closes on June 13, 2024.
