Girl Up's Statement on Heightened Violence in the Middle East

Girl Up strongly condemns violence in all forms. We call for the protection and safety of all civilians—especially girls, women and all youth. We support the UN’s calls for an immediate ceasefire, release of all hostages, and humanitarian access. 

 

We must do everything we can to save lives. We encourage changemakers to:

🤍 Amplify Voices: Continue to thoughtfully post, share, and uplift the stories of people impacted by the crisis.

🤍 Exercise Your Voice: Call and email your elected representatives or safely speak out in your community.

🤍 Donate: Contribute to UN Humanitarian’s emergency response fund for urgently needed humanitarian assistance: https://crisisrelief.un.org/t/cerf
