Opportunity to be PUBLISHED!

Hello friends! 

I'm sharing with you all an opportunity to be published in kahani's Global issue 🤩 If you aren't familiar with the magazine it's for girls by girls from around the world, designed to inform, elevate and inspire through the power of storytelling: kahani. To date, kahani has released three 60+ page print issues, highlighting the stories of 86 girls from 31 countries in 21 languages, addressing topics from climate change to menstrual equity. We are about to release a 4th issue in time for International Women's Day 2023, centered on the theme of mental health and "Our Emotions."

kahani is now launching a call for submissions for a special double-issue on “Our Freedom” to be published in the summer and fall of 2023. Girls aged 12-18 years old are invited to submit stories inspired by the theme of freedom and to have the opportunity to see their work featured in print. Submissions may include personal essays, poetry, fictional writing, interviews, art, photography, even games and puzzles…anything that can be printed on a page!

All contributions may be submitted using this online form. The deadline for the summer U.S. issue is March 1, 2023, and the deadline for the fall Global issue is June 15, 2023.
